What version of Quicken?
Only Ctl-X, Ctl-C, Ctl-V and Ctl-Z are affected by this change. Everything
else, including Ctl-S (split) should still work.
For Q2006, from the top menu in the Quicken window click Edit | Preferences
| Quicken Program | Setup then click the "Help" button to see the see the
equivalent function for the Quicken standard keyboard mappings (listed
below in case you have a different Quicken version).
Ctl-X: Go to Matching Transfer (Edit menu > Transaction > Go to matching
transfer) becomes Cut
Ctl-C: Category List (Tools menu) becomes Copy
Ctl-V: Void Transaction (Edit menu > Transaction > Void Transaction) Paste
Ctl-Z: QuickZoom a report amount (Report window) becomes Undo
For Ctl-X you can also hold down the ALT key then type the letter underlined
in the menu title, i.e. Alt-erg [Alt-dg also works for earlier Quicken
versions and within some account types in later versions].

I decided to switch from Quicken's shortcut keys such as control-S to split
a transaction, control-X to switch to the other half of a transfer, etc.
I really do prefer the Microsoft standard functions for these keys. But
how do I do the Control-X (switch) function, etc.?

Thanks. How do I get the Ctrl-X functionality (go to matching
transfer) when Ctrl-X is used for CUT? Likewise, how do I void a
transaction without Ctrl-V?
